Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy

At Roma Gifts, we want you to love your purchase. Please read our returns, refunds and cancellations policy carefully before placing an order.

Notification and Return Process

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Eligible returns may be approved for exchange or store credit at our discretion.

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return.

Once approved, return shipping must be initiated within 7 business days.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

Return Eligibility and Conditions

Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on earrings, perfumes, or body products unless faulty.

We do not accept returns for minor variations in colour, pattern, or finish.

We are unable to accept returns outside the stated timeframes for change-of-mind returns. This does not apply to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with photos so we can assist you promptly. This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

We do not guarantee order cancellations under any circumstances.

If a cancellation is approved before processing, it is at our sole discretion and may incur a processing or restocking fee.

Sale Items

All sale items are final sale.

Sale items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless they are faulty or not as described in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

All gift cards are valid for a minimum of 3 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Any remaining balance after the expiry date will not be available for use.

Return Shipping and Fees

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or required under Australian Consumer Law.

A tracked shipping service must be used for all returns. Roma Gifts is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Store Credit

Once your return is received and inspected, a store credit will be issued for the item value, excluding original shipping costs.

Store credit can be used on future purchases and is not redeemable for cash.

Faulty Items and Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Returns Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our team within 14 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide your order number and details of the item or items.

  3. Wait for approval and return instructions before sending any items.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted or processed.

Warranty Coverage

If you believe your item is faulty and covered under warranty, please contact us and we will guide you through the process in line with supplier requirements.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • General wear and tear, including tarnishing and fading

  • Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage

  • Failure to follow care instructions

  • External damage or loss of the product

This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
